Maintenance of Critical populations. Our standout capability is very long-term monitoring of threatened species and habitats, such as New Holland mouse and swamp antechinus. We know major declines occur across the landscape, with declining rainfall identified as a key factor. Given this knowledge, smaller refuges where these threatened species are maintained can be identified and conserved.
